From 1991 until June 2023 the goldsmith and jewelry designer, Robert Vogelsang and his wife Jeannette have been making fine jewelry in their jewelry shop with atelier in the historic center of Zurich.

Inspired by a childhood spent in India, Roberts designs are best characterised as modern interpretations of classical themes. The use of selected fine, mostly untreated gemstones and the commitment to outstanding craftsmanship together with a keen sense of shape and proportion culminates in elegant, sensual pieces of timeless beauty. A focal point of Roberts work is handcrafted platinum jewelry.

His training began at the Museum School of Fine Arts Boston (Tufts University), followed by an apprenticeship in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, where he was awarded the gemologist and diamond grader degrees by the German Gemological Society.

Robert and Jeannette are taking some time off to be back towards the end of the year.
